Training

Because SKMES employees an in-house safety director, our company has the ability to train our employees internally in all aspects of safety. In addition, we require:

  • all employees to be compliant with OSHA standards as a condition of employment
  • our supervisors to be trained in safety and to accept responsibility for their jobsite and workers

We provide mandatory OSHA training for all our employees annually. We also provide the following:

  • OSHA 10 and 30 Hour Training

As Needed or As Requested by Supervisors

  • First Aid / CPR AED
  • Power Industrial Truck
  • Hazardous Materials
  • Hazardous Communications

Our safety director is responsible not only for the training of employees but also for:

  • Performing Site Inspections and Audits
  • Performing Security Checks
  • Conducting Site Interviews and Submitting Reports to Management
  • Working with Outside Agencies (i.e. the AGC) on Site Inspections and Training
