Fully-Accredited In-House Apprenticeship Program

Earn While You Learn! While working with SKMES during the day, you’ll also attend school one night per week at no cost to you. As an apprentice in this NCCER accredited curriculum, you’ll be taught by certified craft instructors and receive hands-on knowledge from a credible program that’s registered with the Department of Labor.

As part of this nationally-recognized program. In addition to training from your certified instructor, you’ll receive benefits and on-the-job training from an assigned mentor. There are several financial incentives available for apprentices, including for rewards for perfect attendance and Apprentice of the Year. Like all employees, you will also be eligible for an annual raise based on an evaluation of your work.

About the Program

Our 4-year apprentice program is fully-accredited and registered with both NCCER and the Department of Labor. Classes are held from August to May and are led by instructors who have undergone extensive training to facilitate these classes. Class time is shared between the classroom experience and our in-house lab, to allow for hands-on experience and practice of a wide variety of skills.
